Before the con, the MIT anime club held a
cosplay workshop to get started on their costumes.
|
Cosplay starts with the media as inspiration.
It's the love of the character and anime in general that triggers
the desire to cosplay. The cosplayer usually goes online to
find reference art. Sometimes reference art can be found on
DVD or computer game covers. If other imagery can't be found,
fan art can be used.
